Airport Shuttle

In basic terms, our wide range of luxury vehicles take you to the airport right from your home, office or hotel and bring you back when you return.

The most economical and certainly most popular service Red Car provides is the shuttle service. Shuttle service means that you are booked on a vehicle that is carrying other passengers. The rates for shuttle service are even better if you are travelling with two or more people in your party.  

Red Car Service knows that you are anxious to get to your destination and that is why we try to limit the number of stops for any vehicle to around four, whenever possible.

Reservations are required and we normally suggest booking anywhere from one week to one month prior to your travel. However, we know you can’t always predict when you’ll need to travel, so we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings.

Make Your Reservations from Anywhere

Our website offers the convenience of creating and printing your own reservations without having to log in. Alternatively, you can create a profile, which gives you the ability to create, edit, view, email or print your reservation at any time, from anywhere. Your travel history will be preserved for you, allowing you to maintain records of your expenses. Your personal information will be conveniently saved for future bookings. All online bookings generate an email or printable confirmation upon booking.

We haven’t forgotten that sometimes you just want to speak with a real person. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will always be able to speak with an agent located right here in Guelph, Ontario. Our agent can take all your information, create a reservation for you, and email you a confirmation within a few minutes.

Reservation agents who take your booking by phone will ask you for an email address so that we may send your confirmation right away. We encourage you to carefully review your emailed confirmation. This allows you to verify that we have all your information correct and we can make any necessary adjustments well before your day of travel. The confirmation will also contain important information such as your booking reference numbers, our cancellation policies, and how to find us when you land at the airport.

Further, every departing passenger receives a confirmation phone call, email or text message the day before their departure, generally starting after 3:00 PM.

From Your Home, Office or Hotel

To arrange a pickup from your home, office or hotel to any of the airports we serve, simply use our online reservation system, found right here on our website, or give us a call.

We are able to store your basic contact information in our database, recalled by using your preferred phone number. This allows us to make future bookings for you with greater ease and in less time (see our Privacy Policy for more info). When you make your reservation, we will request some basic personal information from you (like your address and phone number) and your flight details. You will be assigned a tentative pickup time based on where your address is located and the time you wish to check in for your flight. Red Car always recommends the check-in times as suggested by the airlines. However, we will try to accommodate the individual desires of our customers when possible. Booking well in advance of your travel gives you better choice with regard to pickup times.

The day before your trip, we will be working hard to finalize our schedule for the next day, and your final pickup time will be determined based on the addresses of other passengers assigned to your vehicle, the weather forecast, and the time of day (trips occurring during rush hour can generally be 30 to 60 minutes longer than less busy times of the day). You will be informed of your final pickup time via phone call, email or text message, generally starting after 3:00 PM the day before you travel.

When the driver arrives at your location and you board our vehicle, sink back in our comfortable seats as the driver takes on all the headaches and hassles of fighting traffic and weather. Our two-way radio system will keep the driver informed of any traffic problems ahead and allow him to choose an alternate route. Arrive at the airport refreshed and relaxed. The driver will drop you off right at the door where you check in for your flight.

From the Airport

We encourage you to make a reservation from the airport. Advance reservations help us plan the number of vans we will need to serve our customers, ensuring prompt departure for you from the airport.

At Toronto Pearson Airport, you will find a Red Car check-in counter inside both of the terminals; at other airports, you will need to meet up with your driver at a prearranged meeting area. The detailed information for your specific airport check location will be included with your booking confirmation.

Confirmations by E-mail

All online bookings generate an emailed or printable confirmation upon booking. Reservation agents who take your booking by phone will ask you for an email address so that we may send your confirmation right away. If you do not receive an email from Red Car Reservations (Rez) within a few minutes of your call, you need to contact our office. There may be an error that is preventing you from receiving your confirmation.

We encourage you to carefully review your emailed confirmation. Cancellation Policies

When you make a reservation with Red Car, we are guaranteeing that we will be at your door or at the airport to meet you, even if you are the only person scheduled for that time. If a booked passenger doesn’t show up or cancels at the last minute, we have still invested a driver and vehicle for them. In order to cover our costs and keep our prices reasonable, Red Car has implemented cancellation policies. Every no-show and every late cancellation is investigated to determine the circumstances for the cancellation of service. We hope you’ll respect our need to charge for unused services when our follow-up investigation deems it necessary.

The following are our cancellation policies for each type of service:

Toronto Pearson International Airport (shuttle or exclusive service)

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than three hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Toronto Pearson International Airport Super Saver Shuttle

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled Super Saver pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 3 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Waterloo Airport

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 3 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Hamilton Airport

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 3 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Conference Delegates (Any Airport)

Red Car Service requires 24 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 24 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Buffalo Airport

Red Car Service requires 24 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 24 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Billy Bishop (Toronto Island) Airport

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time. (The credit will be valid for one year from the date of cancellation.) Eligibility for refund or credit note with less than 3 hours’ notice is at the sole discretion of our management staff.

Inter-City Transfers and Charters

Red Car Service requires 3 hours’ notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled pickup time. A full credit for future travel OR a refund (minus a 15% administration fee) will be issued for cancellations with more than the required amount of time.
