DRIVER GRATUITIES
One of the most common questions customers ask is "Should I tip the driver?" The short answer is yes.
As with any type of service industry, tipping is an appropriate way to recognize good service. If you feel you have received quality service, then a gratuity in the amount of 10-15% of your fare is appropriate. You may want to give the driver a cash gratuity or you may add one to the total of your invoice when your fare is to be charged to a corporate account or credit card (if your fare has not already been prepaid).
Some services will have a gratuity built in. You can ask your reservation agent about driver gratuities when booking and you may even want to prearrange one so it’s already taken care of before you travel.
