Toronto Island Airport transfers are booked as a private charter service.  

Reservations are required and we normally suggest booking anywhere from one week to one month prior to your travel.  However, we know you can’t always predict when you’ll need to travel, so we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings.

Going to the Airport

When you make your reservation by phone (no online bookings for this service), we will request your flight details.  You will be assigned a tentative pickup time based on the time you wish to arrive at the airport.  Red Car always recommends the minimum check-in times as suggested by the airlines.  However, we will accommodate the individual desires of our customers when possible.  Travel times may also be affected by weather forecasts and expected traffic conditions (e.g., rush hour, construction) and we may make recommendations accordingly.

The day before your trip, we will confirm your travel details and pickup time during routine confirmation phone calls, which we generally start making after 3:00 PM.

When the driver arrives at your location and you board our vehicle, sink back in our comfortable seats as the driver takes on all the challenges of traffic and weather to get you to the island terminal.

You will be dropped at the main parking area off Bathurst Street.  From there, you will board the ferry to cross over to the island.

From the Airport

Based on the information you provide to us, your flight will be satellite-tracked for exact arrival time and this will help ensure a prompt departure from the airport.  Once you have arrived back on the mainland by ferry, your driver will be waiting in the parking area by his vehicle or he will be looking for you at the ferry walkway.  Look for a burgundy Lincoln Town Car or one of our Red Car Sprinter vans.
